Hi there! I'm Alkis, a 17-year-old student at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School in New York, with a big passion for opera and journalism. I founded AppreciateOpera.org in 2019 at 12 years old and serve as its Editor-in-Chief. I have authored over forty articles for the site, and conducted interviews with Peter Gelb, Anthony Roth Costanzo, Lawrence Brownlee, and other important figures in classical music.
